Wise Girls

This movie totally kept me in suspense the entire time! I didn't even realize I cried at the end of the movie when they met for their birthdays - TEAR! When this movie was being made, of course there were rumors of "cat-fights" between Mariah Carey and Mira. I didn't see any animosity between them - like "behind" the scenes - which as really good. The other fact that Mariah didn't try to steal the movie or be a "diva" during the movie - I don't want to mention Glitter but this movie was MUCH better than that movie!!! What really got me into tears was the meat factory - I cried for her, I felt her pain and anguish. Mira facial expressions made you feel all the pain her character went through and you could feel that she had met good friends and you believed they would be friends forever..This movie was excellent!

Wraiths of Roanoke (2007)

Can they find a way to end the siege and survive the winter when even the forest is controlled by the wraiths?

White Chicks (2004)

Plot Outline :

After an unsuccessful mission, FBI agents Kevin Copeland and Marcus Copeland fall in disgrace in the agency. War (2007)

War is an action/thriller film, directed by Phillip Atwell with Corey Yuen as the martial arts choreographer. The film was released on August 24, 2007 and is rated 'R' for sequences of strong bloody violence, sexuality/nudity and language. The film stars Jet Li and Jason Statham. Its working title was Rogue; it was changed to avoid conflict with another film with the same name. It was re-titled as Rogue Assassin in Hong Kong, Singapore and several European countries.

After his partner Tom Lone (Terry Chen) and his family are killed by the infamous and elusive assassin, Rogue (Jet Li); FBI agent, John Crawford, (Jason Statham) becomes obsessed with revenge as his world unravels into a vortex of guilt and betrayal. Rogue eventually resurfaces to settle a score of his own, igniting a bloody crime war between Asian mob rivals Chang (John Lone) of the Triads and Yakuza boss Shiro (Ryo Ishibashi). When John and Rogue finally come face to face, the ultimate truth of their pasts will be revealed.

White Noise 2: The Light (2007)

Plot Outline :

Abe Dale (Nathan Fillion) has a good job and a loving family until one day his family is murdered in front of his eyes and in broad daylight by a man named Henry Caine (Craig Fairbrass) who then kills himself. Haunted by guilt for not being able to save his family, Abe attempts suicide and nearly succeeds- but he resists being drawn to a 'bright white light' before dying and survives. But shortly afterwards he starts noticing white glows around people and learns these glows mean these people are about to die unless he saves them. Abe uses his new gift to it's full advantage and saves many lives- but he then learns that 'if you save a life, you are responsible for it' and as he goes digging deeper into the motives behind his family's killing and the full extent of his new found powers, it takes him on a terrifying and apocalyptic journey into hell from which there will be no escape.

Dale Murphy (Henry Rollins) is hosting and producing his own reality T.V show called "The Ultimate Survivalist: The Apocalypse", with six contestants led by Nina Papas (Erica Leerhsen), who'll be thrown together for six days in a simulated post-apocalyptic wasteland, and the winner will walk away with $100,000. Located in a remote part of West Virginia, the contestants discover that what they are really fighting for is their survival - against a family of hideously deformed inbred cannibals who plan to ruthlessly butcher them all... Who will survive?

Wild Hogs (2007)

Plot Outline:

In Cincinnati, the dentist Doug Madsen is in crisis, bored with his middle-class life and missing his reckless youth when he was known as the Golden Biker. The aspirant writer Bobby Davis feels pressed by his wife and hates his job. The shy geek computer analyst Dudley Frank is unsuccessful with women. The wealthy Woody Stevens is married with a top-model. Together, the four middle-aged friends in their motorcycles self-call the "Wild Hogs". When Woody loses his wife and is completely broken, he invites his friends to take a road trip to the Pacific, in a quest for freedom. After many incidents, they stop for a beer in a bar owned by the dangerous biker gang "Del Fuegos". Their tough leader Jack steals Dudley's motorcycle, and Woody decides to recover the bike back. Woody cuts the fuel pipes of the bikes and provokes an accident, exploding their bar, but he does not tell the truth to his friends. When they stop in the small town of Madrid without gas, Dudley falls in love for the waitress and owner of the local bar Maggie. However, the "Del Fuegos" traps them in the town and the "Wild Hogs" have to take an attitude.

When a Stranger Calls (2006)

Jill Johnson is a normal teenager. She has a boyfriend, she's a freshman in high school, a runner...But when she goes over her cell phone bill by 800 minutes her parents make her pay it off by baby sitting. She's driven to the Mandrakis' house, a rich family with 2 kids who are already asleep. but when the parents leave Jill starts getting weird calls. Somtimes the caller doesn't say anything, but when the ominous voice asks "have you checked the children?" Jill checks on them and returns only to have the caller phone again knowing she had gone upstairs. Jill freaks out and phones the police. They say they will trace the call if she can keep him on the line for more then a minute. But what the police tell her when she succeeds will turn a routine baby-sitting gig into a 16- year-old's worst nightmare. And now she has to fight for her-and the kids'- lives in a struggle for survival.
